Phoenix Zoo

We had a few hours to burn until our flight took off so we decided to go to the Phoenix Zoo. Gunnar wanted to go see the elephants..."first thing". They were pretty far away so he agreed to see some other animals first.

My favorite...

I took about a million pictures of a thousand animals so, believe it or not, these are just a few.
Gunnar finally got to see the elephants.

The boys found this turtle just walking on the side of the path. Chance veered it towards the bushes so it wouldn't get stepped on.

We made our way to the "abandoned city". It was very cool.
They had an entire exhibit just for different kinds of monkey's. We got to actually go into their habitat without any barricades or fences or anything. There were monkey's flying above us from tree to tree. It was spectacular. We could have just reached out and touched them...but we weren't allowed. I could have stayed there forever but we had a plane to catch.

More of the abandoned city.

We loved this guy.

His face was unreal.
The rhinos were amazing.

I love going to the zoo but the Phoenix Zoo is one of my favorites now.

John and His Dad

We had so much fun in Arizona. John was thrilled to be able to spend so much time with his family and I loved every second of it. I am extremely lucky to have married into such a wonderful family. John is so amazing and his parents are, obviously, the reason why. I love his sisters dearly and his brothers are awesome. Thank you for raising such an awesome man and thank you for everything you continue to do for me and my family. I couldn't have asked for better in-laws.
I love you with all my heart!
