Here are a few words and thoughts about a man who will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him...

Dick Fish: "Condolences to you [Ted] and your family on your loss, He was a good man."

Joshua Martineau: "It was a very moving ceremony."

Mady Davis: "He was greatly loved and is still. He was such an amazing man."

Sharon Clark: "Jim Martineau was a wonderful man. My sympathy and love go out to the family."

Julie Heaps: "I remember him as a very little, quiet man who always seemed to be smiling."

Dee Dee Volluz: "I am so sad; I thought he would be here always... I loved him all through my growing up years & have such good memories of a kind & gentle soul. A strong man with such honor & integrity. He was one of those rare gentlemen that they just don't "make" anymore. We have lost a great one from our sphere. I remember him with love & sweetness, deep friendship & love. I send you heartfelt sympathy...Oh, for the touch of a vanished hand, and the sound of a voice that is still."

"Remembering your dad with much love and deepest respect. Even at a young age I could recognize him as one of the greats...great man of faith, husband, & father. How very blessed you were to be able to call him "dad."

Rian Zeigler: "A most amazing man left us recently.... my heart, prayers and love goes to Grandpa Martineau... He was a strong and gentle patriarch of one the most beautiful families that I feel very blessed to have been a part of for most of my life. Love you Grandpa ♥"

John Martineau: "It was a beautiful ceremony and wonderful memories were shared by his family and friends. I loved my Grandpa very much and will miss him dearly."

Ted Martineau: "He was fully engaged in life right to the end...it always seemed like Dad would live forever :) "

"Dropping In'

Coby had me take him to the little skate park by our house yesterday so he could show me what he has been working on...

He informed me this was called "dropping in" and it is very hard. AMAZING!! He is going to be awesome before we know it. I just hope there aren't to many broken bones on the way.

Talent Show 2009

Chance and his best friend Zach decided to perform for this years ward talent show. They have been practicing and practicing.

Here they are warming up before the show.

This year the theme was...Night With the Stars so all of the performers were supposed to dress up. If they were singing an Elvis song they were supposed to dress up as Elvis etc. etc. We had Jason Mraz, Harry Potter, Colbie Caillat, and others.
Chance dressed up as Buckethead and Zach was supposed to be Slash but couldn't get a costume together in time.
The boys did an absolutely amazing job. I am so proud of Chance. He is a fabulous guitarist.

Performing Voice of the Soul...[video to come soon]

They were able to relax after their act and watch the rest of the show.

At the end of the talent show the boys had an encore...It was so nice of grandma and grandpa to come and support Chance. It meant so much to him. Thank you!!

I can't wait to see what the future holds for Chance.

Pizza Time

Gunnar and I were on our own for dinner last night. I told him he could pick anything he wanted. He went ahead and picked out Pizza Lunchables. Nasty...I know, but he was in heaven.

He is such a sweetheart!

PINK - Funhouse

I had been looking forward to seeing Pink for a long time. I love her! I went with three girlfriends and my sister Romi.
On our way.
Kendra, Susan, Romi, and driver Donna.

I was so mad that I didn't think to wear pink. At least I wasn't the only one. Thank you sis.
We waited forever for the concert to begin.Looking good Kendra and Susan...Rock On!!Still waiting for Pink. It took a long time between the opening act (I can't remember who it was) and Pink. We were all getting anxious.Introducing...Pink!Let me tell you...she can put on a show. I have been to a million concerts and this was, by far, the very best one. She is truly an entertainer. My favorite...I Don't Believe You
Dear Mr. President..."So what, I'm still a rock star..."
Thank you for making it a great night ladies. I had so much fun. We missed you Deon!
Pink was WONDERFUL!!

My Little Luchadores

Mexican wrestling is characterized by rapid sequences of holds and moves, as well as 'high-flying moves', and colorful masks. Lucha libre performers are known as luchadores (singular luchador). Cute or scary? You be the judge.
I got home from the airport at about 4:00 PM. I quickly gave my kids a huge hug...kissed my husband, gave them all their gifts and then left for the Pink concert.
Very poor planning on my part. When I was planning the cruise I went for the plane tickets that were the cheapest. I didn't realize, at the time, that I would be arriving home the very same night as my concert. I had planned the concert months and months before. I felt awful and I really just wanted to spend time with my family. I knew that I would be happy once I got to the concert but I missed my family dearly and wanted to stay with them.

Riley and Jory

After the cruise I went back to Rocky's house and spent another day with her and her family.

I was so happy to spend time with my nieces. They are such sweet girls and it was wonderful to be with them.

Riley is so beautiful inside and out. She is always thinking about others and wants to make everyone happy. Jory is adorable and though at first she seems a little shy...as soon as she comes out of her shell she is hilarious. She loves to make people laugh and she is very good at it.
I love you Riley and Jory and I miss you already!!
