Valentines Day Dinner...don't be jealous

We were going to eat dinner at Red Robin but thought we would check out the "fun restaurant" across the street. You know...try something new. What we didn't know was that it was fast food. Hilarious! Sophie was not pleased. I guess we should have known since it was called Burgerville.
Our delicious Valentines Day dinner. I love you John! Can you see how thick my meat was in my hamburger. DELISH! Happy Valentines Day Romi and Dan.A basketball tournament would not be complete if Coby didn't jam his finger. It is the fat ring finger on his right hand...OUCH!Isaiah was going through all of the family members and saying what color they were. Romi is peach, Chi is peach, Sophie is peachish brown, Dan and Isaiah are brown etc. etc..
Believe it or not...I am peachish brown. It was so cute.Gunnar was sick the entire weekend. And when I say sick I mean barfing his guts out. I felt so sorry for him (and John because he had to deal with him by himself).
He started to feel a little bit better the very last day...on our way home. After our gourmet dinner the kids wanted to swim.
Chillaxing The Hot Tub I don't know how safe it is to dunk your head in the hot tub...hummmm.Gunnar deciding if he wanted to join the madness.
After a while most of the people left and Coby, Chi, and Sophie had the pool to themselves.
You can't see him but Coby is under Malachi throwing him up into the air. They had fun...for sure. Look at Sohpie's face.

Happy Valentines Day!

Before I left for Portland I picked up some Valentine goodies. Gunnar saw this "devil bear" about a week ago and really wanted it. I told him no, so I was thrilled to see they had one left when I returned to the store. He was very excited.Coby and his chocolates.

I got Chance a bag full of his favorite foods. He doesn't like chocolate so it is hard to get him anything for Valentines Day. He loved it.

I got John a giant Reese's Heart. It was delicious...at least that is what he told me...ha!

Valentine Parties

Gunnar had an entire day full of Valentine fun. Every single thing they did was somehow related to Valentines Day and LOVE. They made these beautiful heart necklaces...and "heart" shaped pizza. I was in Gunnar's classroom most of the day but I was able to sneak off for a bit and go to Coby's class. They were just starting their party. They started off by playing Pictionary.

All of the words had to do with love or Valentines Day.

They also did a word search and a few other worksheets.
They even played "Pin the Heart on the Guy".
Gunnar had so much fun opening his Valentines from his classmates.to much fun...perhaps.I had a great time spending the day at the boys school.

They both had awesome Valentines parties. I love you guys!

Thank you for letting me spend the day with you.

Happy Valentine's Day

This year the boys got little Valentine bags filled with candy.
Gunnar and Coby opened theirs early while Chance was still at a friends house.
Perfect placement Gunnar.
Coby loved his M&M's, apparently.

Coby was wondering what else was in the bag.
Chance came home, soon after, and opened his bag, as well. Chance doesn't like chocolate so I had to be a little more creative with his bag.

I love you Gunnar!

Hugs and kisses for Coby.

Be mine...Chance!I got something beautiful from Gunnar this year. He's going to be an amazing husband. All on his own he made me this wonderful card. He found something in the kitchen that said Happy Valentine's, and copied it.

Love you too.

I want to tell my Valentine, John, how much I love him. He is one amazing man. After 14 years I love him more, now, then I ever have. He is a wonderful man and I am honored and privileged to call him my husband. He has stood by me through thick and thin and I am so grateful for his companionship and love. He has helped me raise three beautiful boys and I want to thank him for all he does for our family. He works hard every day for us and he never complains. He makes me truly happy. He is so strong and I am lucky to have him to lean on. We are a good team. Thank you John for all you do for me and our family. I love you with all my heart!

Valentine Party

Gunnar had his Valentine party at preschool today. He was very excited. He brought heart suckers with a tag that said
"Happy Valentine's Day
Love: Gunnar"This was his bag that he decorated all by himself. He wrote "Happy Valentine" on the top. He was pleased to wear his pink shirt and he wanted to make sure I did his hair "very handsome". Very handsome indeed!
