The Zoo

O.K. I took 152 million pictures at the zoo so it is going to be hard for me to just pick a few to post. For those of you that know me you know that this is no simple task. Wish me luck.

We went to the zoo with Deon, Tori, Blake, Isaiah, Jenn, and Tyler on Tuesday. The boys were so excited.

Baby Ty. Isn't he gorgeous? Look at those eyes.

We stayed and watched the walruses for a long time. They are fascinating creatures.

This is E.T. He has been at this zoo since I was a little girl. He's huge.All of the little kiddos...Tyler, Blake, Tori, Gunnar, and Isaiah.Isaiah was having a few issues with the various smells you can encounter while visiting the zoo.

I was cracking up. He couldn't take the walruses (once we got outside, I have to admit, it wasn't a pleasant smell).

Look what Blake found. They have got to be the ugliest animals...ever!

As we were walking into the aquarium we happened to walk by a picture on the wall. Gunnar stops and says, "that looks like Tori".

It was!

We were not aware that we were in the presence of a celebrity.The Discovery Zone

The kids spent awhile coloring. Gunnar had to color in every detail .

Time for lunch!


The Show!The carousel at the zoo is now free.The boys didn't care what horse they got. Tori, however, was a different story...She HAD to have this particular horse. As soon as the gates opened we made a run for it.


We got it.

After the carousel we went to the petting zoo and the kids got to feed the goats.

and brush them.

We had such a great time.
