Cruzin'

A few months ago my friend, Robin, suggested that we go on a "girls" cruise. I had never been on a cruise so I was super excited. Robin set everything up and I went out and got my passport. We were heading to Ensenada, Mexico.

Sister Romi, Me, Robin (my friend who lives in Palm Springs now but used to live in Renton), and sister Rocky

It was very cool driving up to the huge cruise ship. I could not believe how gigantic it was.

We got there pretty early so it didn't take that long to board the ship. Here we are walking up the plank. The amazing view from our room...HA!

After we had some lunch it was time to have our safety demonstration. We had to find our life jackets and meet at the upper deck. The guy in charge, Irish Bob, kept telling us to "shut up"...RUDE!

We were just sitting there doing nothing for the longest time. We were a little confused why we had to be silent. That was very hard for us to do. We eventually made it through the boring stuff and we were ready for the fun to begin.
I hadn't had soda since last December (because I was totally addicted to coke-a-cola) so before we left for our cruise I decided that I was going to 'live it up' while I was on the ship. I was super excited to get my first coke. Let me tell you, it was just as good as I remembered. Delicious!!

P.S. I thought it was going to be hard to go back home and not drink it, however, it wasn't any harder then before and I haven't had any since...thank you very much.

Rocky found "Mickey Mouse ears" in our room. HeHe!!

Dinner time was at 6:00. We had a great table by the window. I think Rocky got a little bit of something in her teeth.

After dinner we went to karaoke. Romi and Rocky sang Faithfully by Journey. They did awesome and sounded beautiful. A little while later Romi and I sang Heartbreaker by Pat Benatar. So fun!We got bored with karaoke because the same people kept on singing so we explored the boat. We got to the very back of the boat and no one was there so we all struck a pose. Except Robin, she was the photographer.Contemplating...Looking good Romi!SistersWe walked around for a while then thought it would be a good idea to go to bed so we would be refreshed for the "day at sea".

Our little towel animal friend. We could never figure out what it was and...

adorable Robin in her jammies heading up to her top bunk.

Sleepover...the room was so tiny.Nigh Night
