Get It Out!!

The boys and John finally got to see Uncle Beau yesterday. They were very excited. The boys made him cards and gave him big hugs and kisses. His head was hurting pretty bad but he was in great spirits. I asked him if he was scared for his surgery on Monday and he said, "nope, I want this tumor out of my head". He is ready to alleviate some of his pain. He goes in at 5AM to check in and get another MRI. I am not sure exactly when his surgery will begin but we'll be there. Beau had another small seizure on Wednesday but he was at an appointment at the hospital. Thank goodness! He now has to take a higher dosage of the seizure medication. They showed Melissa what to do and what steps to take in case he has one at home. Let's hope he doesn't.
Beau getting love from mom.

Mow Hawks and Baseball

The boys and JojoToday was a lazy day. We sat around most of the day and then went to Malachi's game.
Gunnar was excited because cousin Lucas was there.
They both had mow hawks. Actually, Luke had a mow hawk Gunnar has a feaux hawk.
Me and Rocky at the game.Love you Grandma!
Sisters!
Chance and Dan talking about the game.
Malachi had an awesome game. He was playing second base and had an amazing snag and threw the guy out at first. He also had the best hit I have ever seen him get. He got a double but the ball went over the left fielders head. It was so incredible.
That is the reason for his HUGE smile.
They won their game! Final score... 12-1

Rocky, Beau, Taco Time, and Dorks

We got to pick up Rocky and Jory from the airport today. We are so excited they are joining Riley here in Washington. It is nice to finally have all of our family here, together, ...at least for a while. Jory RaeRiley and Sophie were so happy.I am so glad you are here Rocky. I missed my sissy! First stop... meeting Piper and seeing Beau.
This was the first time Rocky got to meet Piper.
Piper loved her right away.

How could you not?

It was wonderful to see Beau today. He looks a little drugged (which he is) but he is looking great. He was able to sit up and talk with us for a long time.
Piper wasn't sure why so many people were at her house. Piper looks so much like Beau.

The beautiful couple.

All of the girl cousins (including Piper) together for the first time.

After our visit with Beau the, obvious, next stop was...
Taco Time of course.
Before we even made it home from the airport we had to get a taco.
Oh, and crustos...

Rocky, and Riley, could now head home.

We picked up Gunnar from grandma's house. He was so excited to see his cousin Jory and Aunt Rocky.Self portrait time... DORKS!!What will tomorrow hold?

So You Think You Can Dance (performance show #7)

I just got finished watching last night performance show. Are You kidding me?

Can I just say...I LOVE Ade. He is so good. Melissa is fine but Ade is amazing. I love the way he just throws her around. He is so strong. I also love how they look together. His dark, dark, skin and her very pasty white skin. They look beautiful together.

This dance was so timely. It was gorgeous. When I saw her headscarf...I lost it.
I loved the part where he picked her up by her wrists and threw her back on her feet. How poetic. The entire dance was spectacular. I watched it over and over...of course through tears.
It was so good.

For those of you who are not familiar with the song they danced to, it is from a beautiful artist named Maxwell...yes BEAUTIFUL...Here are the lyrics...

Pray God you can cope

I stand outside

This woman's work

This woman's world

Oh it's hard on the man

Now his part is over
Now starts the craft of the father

*
I know you've got a little life in you left
I know you've got a lotta strength left
I know you've got a little life in you left
I know you've got a lotta strength left

*
I should be cryin' but I just can't let it show
I should be hopin' but I can't stop thinkin'
All the things we should've said that are never said
All the things we should've done that we never did
All the things we should've given, but I didn't
Oh darlin', make it go
Make it go away
*
Give me these moments
Give them back to me
Give me your little kiss
Give me your...
Give me your hand baby
Give me your pretty hand

*
For...
Your love child
Whatever you need
Give me your hand
Give me your love

*
I should be cryin' but I just can't let it show baby
I should be hopin' but I can't stop thinkin
All the things we should've said that we never said
All the things we should've done that we never do
All the things that you wanted from me
All the things that you needed from me
All the things we should've given, but I didn't
Oh darlin', make it go away now.
Just make it go away.

It is such a beautiful song. I LOVE Maxwell.

I also loved the Battlefield dance by Jeanine and Brandon. It was super amazing.
And I loved the Zombie Dance. The end was cool how he picked her up by her neck...AWESOME!! I also loved how she smeared the makeup down her face. How do people come up with these things...incredible.

I am excited for tonights show. I can't wait to see all the past dances.

We Love You Beau!

I don't even want to write this post but I want to keep everyone up to date.
Beau had his appointment this morning and the news isn't good. He is going to have surgery Monday morning to remove, what they think, is a malignant tumor. They say it is so large that they probably won't be able to remove it all and he will have to have chemotherapy or radiation to shrink the rest.
I am so devastated. I can't even imagine what he and his wife are going through right now. We were supposed to take the kids to see him today but he was just not up for it. He was tired, his head was his hurting him and I am sure he is sad.
I have faith that he will make it through this. He is strong and young and I am confidant he will be o.k. He's a fighter and we will be by his side the entire way.

Tye Tye...

is what Gunnar calls him.He is getting so big and so fun.Look at that smile.
