Mother's Day Tea

Gunnar's classroom had a Mother's Day Tea for all of the mom/grandmas/aunties etc. It was so special. Gunnar made me a book all about me! It was so cute.
Snuggle Puppy. I cried!

They made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, all by themselves, and then cut them into hearts. We had cookies, punch and chocolate covered strawberries.
The children even served us our food. Gunnar wouldn't let me get up.

It was so nice to spend the afternoon with Gunnar. He spoiled me!

Rock Star Party

Happy Birthday Brayden!
Gunnar had so much fun at his friend Brayden's party.

He rocked the sunglasses and had mad skills on the blow-up guitar.

Gunnar actually directed this photo shoot and told me when to take the picture. So funny!

He is very cool!

Go Meeker!

Chance's first middle school basketball game of his life...He played awesome!
Here he is (below) getting the ball. He has great defense and he's so aggressive.
He did spend more time like this than he would have liked...but he played amazing.
We won by 2 points at the buzzer. It was a great game!

"Spring Sing"

Gunnar's Kindergarten Concert
Taylor and Gunnar Normally I wouldn't add every video that I take, however, these are soooo cute and funny. I had to add them all. Kindergarten is such a fun age. They aren't afraid to get down and boogie and sing their little hearts out. They are worth the few minutes it takes to watch...I promise.

I Love You

Mrs. Barlow, the music teacher
Friends
Love from his brothers,
I MADE them go to support their brother. They were not happy with me but they were glad they went because they had so much fun watching Gunnar do all of his cool moves. It was bittersweet sitting through Gunnar's concert. I realized this will be my very last kindergarten concert...EVER! Very strange/sad to think about.
Proud parents.Gunnar got his favorite ice cream, Rockin' Pop Swirl, for all of his hard work.
(The rest of us got frozen yogurt at Menchie's)

tyler and gunn

The other night we went over the the Miles for dinner. After dinner Erik made delicious oatmeal cookies. Gunnar was more than happy to share his cookie with Tyler.
Tyler was happy too. We miss not seeing Tyler every day. Gunnar talks about him all the time. He still calls Ty "his baby".

Sweet boys.

Between me, John, Chance, Coby, and Gunnar I think we ate about 102 cookies. They were so good. Gunnar loved them so much that he asked Erik to write down the recipe for him. He wanted me to make them as soon as I got home.

Team Roy Pot Luck Surprise

Coby's basketball team had a pot luck. It was so much fun. We played dodge ball, ping pong, football, and, of course, basketball.Dodge ball was hilarious. I was the referee. All of the big boys...and dads played. We have a dad that is about 6 ft. 7. So I decided refereeing would be a better/safer idea. Gunnar loved it. Coby and Chance are so good at dodging the balls. It is amazing.
After a few games we were all sitting down and eating when in walks a big/tall surprise... Brandon Roy. Brandon Roy plays in the NBA for the Portland Trail Blazers. It was so exciting. Coby was in shock and just stared with his mouth wide open for a while. Brandon Roy sponsors the team and his cousin, Marvin (the one sitting on the right of Brandon in the picture below), is one of Coby's coaches.

Team Roy with Brandon Roy himself...
Malcolm, Jovi, LJ, Jason Jr.
Coach Jason, Montrae, Stef'fun, Brandon Roy, Coach Marvin, Tavion
Coach Earl, EJ, Zane, Coby
Coby and Chance we starstruck... so was I.Gunnar couldn't leave without a picture with Brandon.
So cute.

We had such a great time and it was an amazing surprise.

Thank you Brandon!
