Meet Mrs. Hazel

Chance was lucky enough to have Mrs. Hazel for first grade. Coby was lucky enough to have Mrs. Hazel for first grade and I made sure that Gunnar had Mrs. Hazel for first grade as well.

She is the BEST teacher.

Sending him off to school every day will be a breeze knowing he gets to spend the day with her.

Go Mariners

Jenn was so excited because she got four free tickets to the Mariners game. She invited me and John and we were more then thrilled to go. As we were getting in the car and about ready to head out John looked at the tickets and noticed that it said the first pitch was at 1:30. It was almost 3 o'clock. We thought the game started at 5. We were so bummed. We were in our Mariner gear and everything.We decided to go out anyway. And, of course, we still had a fabulous time. Just not at the Mariners game...oh well.

Stadium Football

Chance has never played football before...until now.

He is practicing with the Stadium High School Freshman Football team.

He is loving it.

I can't wait for his first game.

Lady Gaga!

Getting ready for Gaga...Monika, Mandy, Me, and KendraI got these leopard pants when I worked at Georgiou a few years ago. As, I am sure, you can imagine, I don't wear them very often. I was happy to rock them at the concert.I met Kendra's friend, Monika, this very night and Mandy is in our mommy group.We waited with anticipation for her to come on stage and she didn't disappoint.

She made quite the entrance.I love my Kendra!

Lady Gaga is an amazing entertainer and she actually has a very beautiful voice.
I loved all of her crazy costumes.Bad Romance...

The crowd was almost as entertaining as Gaga herself.

Coby's First Football Game

Coby had a great game. The highlight however was right here...The pass was intended for #7, who was 6ft tall (and I'm not exaggerating...I asked). Coby jumped up as high as he could and... made the interception! The crowd, including grandma and grandpa, went wild. I got so excited that instead of getting the picture of his amazing catch I got a picture of this...my arm.

I was so mad. We lost...big time... but Coby was amazing.

I can't wait to watch this kid play this season.

Tigers Pep Rally

This is the first year EVER for the NE Tigers Junior Football League.We had some amazing speakers!

15 Years and Counting...

When I woke up this morning and made my way to the kitchen... this is what I found. Gunnar had been working hard to create this masterpiece.

Please notice me and John holding hands.I could not believe that Gunnar remembered our anniversary. He is such a sweet kid.

I am so lucky to have spent 15 years with this amazing man.There are a million reasons why I love John so much. Here are just 15 reasons why:

(which is, I am sure, hard to do sometimes)

The Landlubber

We were at our friend, Jessica's house and she and her husband built this awesome sandbox. Gunnar could have spent all day in it.

High School Orientation

Chance will be attending Stadium High School in just a few short days.

I don't even know what to say about this. Seriously, this can not be my baby. He is growing up right before my very eyes and I have to admit I am not ready for it. High school...I was just in high school a few moments ago. Wasn't I? I can't possibly have a child going into high school.
I can't believe it's true. As you can see this is a beautiful child (if I do say so myself) but what you don't see is how truly beautiful he is on the inside. I could never explain to you how wonderful this boy is. I hope he knows how much I love him and how honored I am to call him mine.
Try not to break to many hearts Chance.

Thompson BBQ

Our friends Lisa and Jayson invited us to a BBQ.

Gunnar had so much fun in the pool with the girls.Kendra and John were there so Gunnar was thrilled to play with Grant and Bennett. Bennett wasn't a huge fan of the water though.It was a gorgeous, sunny day! Chance had to practice with his band, but Coby came along. He was the only one his age so he texted and drank a lot of root beer. Grant and JohnMe and KendraTime to eat...
Gunnar loved Mariah.
